Subject: The Duality of Affiliate Marketing
Content: In my mind there are really 2 kinds of affiliate marketing and in my opinion you should be using both. The first kind is marketing other people products as an affiliate. I've gotten feedback from some of the members here that it's something they are interested in but don't know how to get started. If that sounds like you here's your chance to get your questions answered. The second kind is recruiting and using affiliates to market your products. Let me just say that this is a beautiful thing and if done right it can change your life. I suggest doing both. The first one you can do immediately by setting up a review site. You can drive traffic by posting your reviews on forums like this and putting a link to your review site in your signature. You can even get a blogger.com or wordpress.com account for free if you can't afford 6-7 dollars a month so there is really NO excuse. From there you would simply review and recommend or criticize products and people could opt in to a autoresponder list which you run. I recommend aweber for autoresponders and currently have the option to manage all my lists for about $20 per month. The key is to stay consistent getting your site viewed be people after you make some money you can put out a product teaching others how you did it. I know it sounds simple, it's not complicated.
